Mirza Nazeer Baig Mughal commonly know as Nadeem, is a Pakistani great actor, born in Madras, India on 19th July – 1941. He has acted in several films, tele-films, TV Drama Serials, ruled over the Pakistani Film Industry as “King” and still busy in showbiz. He has acted / played leading role in more than 200 films.
Nadeem’s film career spans more than 40 years. He started his career in 1967 and appeared in his first film Chakori in a leading role with Shabana as opposite actress. The film was produced and
directed by Captain Ehtesham. The film did well in both circuits of Pakistani film industry, i.e., West and East.
He has been awarded The “Hilal-i-Imtiaz” (Crescent of Excellence) & “Sitara-i-Imtiaz” (Star of Excellence), second & third highest civilian award and honor given to both civilians and military officers of the Pakistan armed forces by the Government of Pakistan. It recognizes individuals who have made an “especially meritorious contribution to the security or national interests of Pakistan, world peace, cultural or other significant public endeavors”. It is a civilian award, and not limited to the citizens of Pakistan. He received “Pride of Performance Award” from the President of Pakistan, Ghulam Ishaq Khan on 23rd March – 1991 and has achieved more than 130 difference awards including many “Nigar Awards”, the official and oldest award of Pakistani film industry, given to an honor of showbiz personalities of Pakistan.

Since my childhood, I have been a “die-hard fan” of “Nadeem” since then watching his movies and almost watched his all movies, copied his lifestyle and it was my “dream” to meet him and to take his valuable signature (autograph), but didn’t know, when my dream would come true. One day I was searching his pictures on net and found a very attractive and impressive picture and immediately decided to paint the same and also decided that I would try to approach him for his autograph. By the grace of Almighty Allah, I succeeded to have his cell number and sent a “respectable humble message” to him for scheduling a meeting. The second day, Respected Honorable Nadeem Sahib phoned me, informed me his tight schedule and advised me to phone or send SMS after three (03) days and really I am very thankful and grateful to him that after three (03) days, Respected Honorable Nadeem Sahib gave me an appointment and scheduled a meeting with me at his home (again thankful to him as that is an honor for me).
I along with my friend, Ravi Kumar, reached his home a little bit late as he had another meeting with someone else, but he met us with all due respect along with his smiling face, put his valuable signature as an autograph on my all pencil sketches and on my painting and made all my pencil sketches and painting as “precious & priceless”.
Nadeem Baig is in a fact an institute in his personality and a great legend of Pakistan, keeping in view his meritorious contribution to cultural / films / showbiz of Pakistan, Government of Pakistan should arrange to place his statue in Madame Tussauds. The leading branded Companies of perfumes such as Lorenzo Villoresi, Elie Saab, Jean Paul Gaultier and Calvin Klein may also create a scent / perfume of his name as “Nadeem”, “Baig”, or his 1st super hit movie “Chakori”, so they can be able to generate revenue from entire Pakistan and Bangladesh. The designers, dressers of Pakistan may also launch suiting of his name for men, which definitely will be a brand soon with a strong marketing / publicity. New Cinemas are being constructed a new cinema with advance technologies shall also be dedicated to him.

My friend Khalid Sb. visited Nadeem Sb and penned down the cherish moments in a beautiful manner. Really, meeting such a great person is an achievement that I missed :(.
Nadeem Sb. through his acting took Pakistani film industry to the heights. He is a a school in his personality, and one can learn patience from his styles; the way he talk and behave is so polite and gentle. Even you can notice this in video link where he is showing botherness for Khalid’s Sb’s late arrival. Also I’m very thankful to Nadeem Sb. who has sent me his autograph even in my absence from this meeting.
People : We must respect and care such personalities because they are the one’s who brought Pakistan in the international races in whatever fields they are working in.

Nadeem was one of my fathers best friend in his early stages when he was living in just neighbor of my fathers house at Naval residential area of Mauripur and as per my father he was also a very good player of cricket.
